Kubuntu 10.04.1 Lucid Lynx LTS

Kubuntu is the KDE flavour of the great and easy to use Ubuntu linux distribution. Based on the same package repository, Kubuntu is integrating all of KDE Project's best applications.

Based on KDE 4.5.1, Kubuntu's user interface is much faster and astheticly pleasing to use than the old versions of KDE. You get the latest software too: Amarok - the undisputed champion of Linux media collections mangement, Kopete - the all-in-one instant messanger which can connect to virtually every chat and messaging server (including Facebook chat), and much more.

The regular "Big-Guns" are the same in Kubuntu: Firefox as a web browser, OpenOffice as a productivity suite.
